122 Quebec protesters arrested in raucous night before proposed strike-breaking legislation
A bid to restore order in restive Quebec was met with streets clogged with thousands of protesters, a multitude of flying projectiles, several smashed windows, and blasts of pepper spray leading to 122 arrests.

The unrest on Wednesday night followed the Quebec government’s announcement it would suspend the current academic session for striking students in an effort to calm things down.

Remember how you’d never hear about Québec? Because we are so nice and awesome? It’s changing. My generation is going crazy after a Government and past generations that just won’t listen. I’m seriously a dumb kid when it comes to politics, but I can tell when a situation is going critical…

It feels like we are nearing civil war and that’s what scares me. I have been staying away from the protests lately, but tomorrow I will take part in one at my College. Hopefully, it goes well…

Hopefully, this all ends soon.

He complied begrudgingly, rolling over and pulled her against his chest, tucking her head under his chin as he gathered her into his arms. Safe, secured into his embrace, a soft sigh thanked him.

A gentle smile touched his lips and he drifted back into a dream ravaged sleep.
